Happy anniversary, Darren! It was eighteen years ago today, that Darren (24) and I (barely 20) were married in the Mesa, Arizona temple, sealing us for time and all eternity. Much has happened in those eighteen years. Some things have changed, some have stayed the same. Here are a few of my reflections comparing how things were when we dating/engaged and how things are today:THEN: Darren sometimes made me dinner and/or cookies.
NOW: Darren makes dinner every Sunday and most Saturdays too. His desserts have gotten more elaborate (cheesecake, yum!). Aren't I lucky?
THEN: On our first date, Darren fell asleep during the movie (after being awake for 20 hours).
NOW: Darren still falls asleep when we try to watch a movie at home or while he's trying to get Griffin to sleep. (Thanks for working at your long, hot, tiring job for us and for putting our crazy boy to bed almost every night.)
THEN: Because we lived two hours apart, we only got to see each other on weekends.
NOW: We get to see each other every day. Yay!
THEN: Childless.
NOW: Full house.
THEN: He paid for dates and a ring.
NOW: He pays for everything. (Again, thanks for working hard.)
THEN: Darren was my favorite person in the world.
NOW: He's my favorite person even more.
I love you, Darren. Thanks for all the nice things you do for me.

I am so glad that you have a blog. You are so creative and talented that it is going to be awesome! It is already really cute - love the background. Who is going to walk my mom and dad through getting a gmail account? I really don't want it to be me...:)
I love you mom.
